Sound Blaster Z Sbx Pro Studio Download
Hi,
Yesterday I purchased a Gigabyte Z170X-Gaming 7 Motherboard, which comes with a Creative SoundCore 3D chip onboard. The Creative software for this is the SBX Pro Studio. I'm using the SPDIF optical out, which is hooked up to my Yamaha RX-V375 receiver. The OS is Windows 10 64 bit.
If the SPDIF is selected as the default audio device in Windows, SBX Pro Studio does not work. It says no supported audio device. Selecting the speaker makes it work. Then from the Advanced Features tab of SBX Pro Studio, play stereo mix to digital output, allows for a stereo signal to be passed through the SPDIF to the receiver. The hassle is that there is no way to get a 5.1 signal out. Also, most of the SBX Pro Studio features (Crystallizer, Surround, Bass Redirection, Equalizer, etc. do not work).
1) Is there a way to get a 5.1 signal out through the SPDIF?
2) Is there a way to get all the functionality of the SBX Pro Studio to work?
Thanks.
